Atlanta Association of Southern Baptist Churches

Together Making Jesus Known

Annual Fall Meeting

Sunday, September 12th at 6:00 p.m.,

at North Peachtree Baptist Church

Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),  6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 2:5-6

TOGETHER –with Christ and with each other!  Three times in these two verses Paul mentions the blessed “togetherness” we enjoy in/with Christ and with one another!  Our mutual faith has brought us into a mutual purpose that can only be fully accomplished “together.” We know that the togetherness of the Christian life is lived out closest to home!  Our togetherness with those Brother and Sisters in our local Church is of richest and most vital importance.  However, after that, the togetherness of those Sister Churches near us and around our City becomes a close and vital union that is worth our participation.  The value of our togetherness, like that of an individual in our Church, is of greater immediate blessing to some than to another.  Yet when one takes the time to investigate and understand all the ways God is at work through our “togetherness” all would quickly agree there is a Kingdom value to the work that is unmistakable!

Love and Blessings,

Dr. Tony Romans

Interim Director of Missions, AASBC
